•Allicia Wae-Jin Lam, of Babylon, graduated from Harvard College, Cambridge, Massachusetts on June 9. While at Harvard, Lam was president of the Harvard Mozart Society Orchestra, active as deputy faculty liaison for the Harvard Model Congress and orchestra manager and build crew captain for the Harvard-Radcliffe Gilbert and Sullivan Players.

•Joseph M. Marro, of West Islip, has been named to the dean’s list at Hartwick College, Oneonta, New York, where he is a sophomore majoring in music and management. At Hartwick he has participated in Student Union, Circle K and Music Educators National Conference.

•Alyssa M. Dettinger, of Deer Park, has reserved a place as a transfer student at the State University of New York at Oswego. She last studied at SUNY College of Technology at Farmingdale.

•The following local residents have reserved places as freshman at SUNY Oswego: From Deer Park is Anthony Pignataro, a 2005 graduate of Half Hollow Hills High School West; From Lindenhurst is Jacquelyn P. Dougherty, a 2005 graduate of Lindenhurst Senior High School and from West Islip is Justin C. Gentile, a 2005 graduate of West Islip High School.

•Named to the dean’s list at Binghamton University of the State University of New York for the spring semester from Babylon Village is Ashley Andrews-Santillo; from Babylon is Vikrum S. Panesar; from North Babylon is Stephanie D. Lurie and from West Babylon are Adam B. Shapiro, Jessica R. Dinkel and Michael A. Castellano.

•Teresa DeRienzo, of North Babylon, was named to the dean’s list at Suffolk University, Boston, Massachusetts, for the spring semester.

•Meghan Jean DeMayo of Lindenhurst and Bryan Christopher Bergin of West Islip, received bachelor’s degrees from the University of Delaware.

•The following local residents were named to the dean’s list at The University of Delaware for the spring semester: From Lindenhurst are Lauren Nicole Blum, Meghan Jean DeMayo, Samantha Lynne Feld, Amy Ann Samperisi, John Stazie Scotti, Casie Elizabeth Thomas and Iwona Truszkowska and from West Islip are Bryan Christopher Bergin and Meredith Ann Wagner.

•Named to the dean’s list at Syracuse University S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications for the spring semester are Jacquelyn Burke of Babylon, Danielle Rodrigues of North Babylon and Meredith Worrilow of West Babylon.
