Douglas S. Harkness, 44, resident of Lindenhurst Douglas S. Harkness, of Lindenhurst, died December 3, 2003 at the age of 44. Mr. Harkness is survived by his mother, Theresa; his siblings Maren and her husband Ernst Schmalzer, William and his wife Tina, David and his wife Lisa, Robert and his wife Andrea and Elaine and many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews and great grandnieces and nephews. His father William predeceased him. Mr. Harkness reposed at the Lindenhurst Funeral Home, 424 South Wellwood Ave., Lindenhurst. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charity in his name would be appreciated.
