This week at the library •The Seven Key Factors to a Healthy Mind, Body and Spirit will be presented by Dr. Christopher Hansen Tuesday, April 30, 7:30 to 9 p.m. Learn how to clear your mind from stress and clutter and improve the overall performance of your body. Registration for this free program is underway. •Senior Advocate Joan Haugen from the Suffolk County Department of the Aging will be at the library Thursday, May 2, 2 to 4 p.m. to assist seniors over the age of 60 with applications for food stamps, Medicaid and more. Call the library for further information. •A representative from the American Cancer Society will present Breast Health - "Triple Touch," Saturday, April 27, 2 p.m. Discussion includes the importance of mammography, clinical examinations and self-examination. Sign-up is underway. •Registration is underway for Computer Comfort, class to be held Friday’s, May 3, 10, 17, 24, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The fee is $40 per person and is non-refundable. This hands-on course is designed to show what computers can do for you.
