Marine Corps. marathon in Washington D.C.
In the picture are Kathleen Muller of Kathy’s Hair Corner in West Islip, Maryellen Bogdahn of Babylon and Alice Hageman of West Islip. The three ran the Marine Corps. marathon in Washington D.C. on October 26 to help raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. They ran in memory of Bogdahn’s sister, Diane (Reichel) Ciccone. The combined total raised was over $12,000. Through Team in Training (TNT) they trained for five months to reach their goal of running 26.2 miles to finish the Marathon. Each received a Finisher’s Medal.
