IMV Award from Good Sam

Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center’s Associate Administrator of Medical and Clinical Affairs Jim O’Connor recently received the IMV Award (I=Involved, M=Motivation, V=Values) from the Southeastern Chapter of the New York State Society for Respiratory Care. This award is given out as a result of a respiratory therapist being nominated by one of their peers. It is given to a person who has made significant contributions to the field of respiratory care in the Long Island/NYC Metro area. O’Connor received this award for all his accomplishments in the field of respiratory care both at Good Samaritan and by his contribution to the education of respiratory therapy students from SUNY Stony Brook and Molloy College.
