W. Islip school district adult education programs

The West Islip School District Adult Education Program, under the direction of Ralph A. Scordino, announces the start of the Fall 2001 semester.

An exciting Fall program has been planned, offering courses in a variety of areas. Many popular computer courses are being offered, as well as classes designed to be beneficial in the area of Health and Fitness. These classes include: Yoga, Aquacise, Ballroom Dancing, Line Dancing and West Coast Swing, Golf and a Senior Fitness Course. We also offer several Arts and Crafts Classes: Floral Design, Watercolor for Beginners Calligraphy and Drawing and Painting just to name a few! Defensive Driving, Community First Aid, foreign language courses in Spanish and French, Financial Workshops and workshops in Italian Cooking, Feng Shui, Coaching Baseball and more!

Brochures are available in the local public libraries, or they can be mailed to you by calling 893-3250, ext. 272. (Please leave a message, and a brochure will be sent to you). Registration is on going. Most classes start the week of October 15th.
