Success at Suffolk DECA competition

Members of Babylon High School’s newly formed DECA club traveled to Suffolk Community College on January 10 to compete in the county DECA competition. Competing against over 1,000 other Suffolk high school students in categories such as accounting, visual advertising, marketing and job interview skills, the students performed exceedingly well, with four students winning trophies in the categories and two others receiving honorable mentions.

Shown, left to right, are DECA members who attended the competition: Michelle Rott, Kelly Baum, DECA Advisor Claire Reilly, Erynn Phillips, Glenn Vickers, Kristy Rott, Holly Schmitt., Antim Panesar, Rachael James, John Collins and Jason Chang.
