Scholarships offered

The Babylon Village Women’s Club is offering a $2,000 scholarship to women returning to school for the 2001-02 academic year who are residents of Babylon Village or members of the Babylon Village Women’s Club. A high school diploma, or its equivalent, is a prerequisite for applying for the scholarship. Decisions will not be based on financial need.

The deadline for applications is April 30 and the scholarship will be awarded in June.

Interested women should send a self-addressed, stamped #10 envelope to the Babylon Village Women’s Club, Scholarship Committee, P.O. Box 173, Babylon Village, New York 11702-0173 for a copy of the guidelines and an application.

All information will be kept confidential.

The Babylon Village Women’s Club is a not-for-profit social organization. Female residents, taxpayers, business owners, employees and school district taxpayers of Babylon are eligible for membership.
